MG Engineering (MG) worked with Lantic (Rogers Sugar) to provide process, mechanical, and structural engineering services for the Soft Sugar Packaging Replacement project

Lantic was interested in replacing the packaging equipment for their soft sugar (blended and yellow).  The installation of this system would modernize their packaging station to improve efficiency, reliability, and reduce operating costs. To achieve Lantic’s goals, MG provided mechanical, process, and structural engineering, along with vendor discussions, cost estimates, and construction contract assistance.

The project was designed and installed in a series of phases to allow for continuous operation of the existing packaging system while the new equipment was being installed.

MG’s scope of work included: the layout design of the mixers, conveyors, and packing stations, the design of the chutes, and structural modifications.
