Portal Reclaimer

MG worked with RKM to provide structural and mechanical engineering, for the upgrade for the Shed #2 Portal Reclaimer. The upgrade included new main and auxiliary chain drives, upgraded chains, replacement of the main boom shaft, and an upgrade to the transfer chute. MG provided the engineering assistance required to incorporate these upgrades. The new upgrade will provide a more efficient and smoother operation, while incorporating more readily available hoists.
