Coal Dumper

MG worked for RKM Services providing mechanical and structural engineering and design for the upgrade of Coal Dumper 1 at Neptune Bulk Terminals.

Major components of the Coal Dumper 1 were replaced in order to increase the terminal’s coal throughput.  To achieve Neptune’s goals, the barrel, hoppers, chutes, feed conveyor, drawbridge rail platform, and electromagnet were replaced, along with and various conveyor modifications.

MG’s scope of work included providing mechanical engineering and design, equipment specifications, structural engineering for the General Contractor.
